Bluehost vs Namecheap which one should I buy for my website? You can read these points and then choose accordingly.

1. Price

From the price point of view. If your budget is low and you do not want to spend more money. Also, If you just want to start a website and things like more RAM, high performance, bandwidth, disk space, etc are not your first priority then without any second thought, you can go with Namecheap.

Note

Some tips from my side. If you are a beginner and starting a new website for the first time then I suggest you choose Namecheap over Bluehost because of cheap plans for starting a website.

When I started my first blog in 2015 it took almost 6 months to reach 45,000 visitors per month and after that increased traffic, I shifted to Bluehost WordPress hosting plan.

What I want to say is if your budget is low choosing a cheap plan is a good step and when your traffic increases upgrading your hosting plan will help you.

If you do not have a budget-related issue then choose Bluehost. It’s all up to your choice which hosting you choose.

2. Plans

Both hosting companies have different plans according to the needs and requirements of the user. For hosting high-traffic websites that generate more than 1 million views per month then Bluehost is best (It’s My personal opinion).

NameCheap can also easily manages high traffic depending on its plans). Bluehost plans are expensive when compared to others but the money you are spending on these plans is worth it.

3. Customer Support

Both companies provide good customer support (24/7). In terms of customer support, Namecheap is the best. They really provide an excellent support service to help their customers.

4. Easy WordPress Installation

Both hosting companies provide easy installation of WordPress.

5. SSL Certificate

When you buy a shared or any hosting plan from Bluehost they provide free SSL certificates in all of their plans.

Nowadays having an SSL certificate is a major plus point for search engine optimization. Whereas you did not get a free SSL certificate in starter (mainly shared) plans of Namecheap.

6. Domain Privacy Protection

Namecheap provides free lifetime WhoisGuard domain privacy protection whereas you have to pay a little bit for domain privacy protection in Bluehost.

If you don’t buy domain privacy protection your name, address, email, phone number, etc will be visible to everyone if anyone searches for your domain this information can easily be seen on Whois.com. You can see the below pic as an example

Conclusion

Bluehost vs Namecheap conclusion is here.

Both are good hosting providers. If you are looking for good performance hosting with a free SSL certificate and domain name then you can choose Bluehost.

If you are looking for a cheap domain name and hosting with free forever WhoisGuard protection then you can choose Namecheap.

Namecheap provides good performance considering the price. Both are good options for beginners. When your website traffic grows then you can look for cloud hosting companies such as Digital Ocean, Linode, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, etc.

At last, The choice is yours. This is my personal experience and opinion after using both of these hostings on my different blogs.
